Another Stupid Criminal Story

Another stupid criminal was arrested after he held up a bank when he returned minutes later to pay off an overdraft on his account.

The man ran into the Kredi Bank in the Serbian ski resort Nova Varos wearing a ski mask and brandishing a shotgun and demanded that tellers hand over all the cash they had.

He got the equivalent of £30,000 in cash and then ran out of the bank.

The staff was still getting over the shock of the robbery when the stupid criminal, this time without his ski mask, walked back in to pay off an overdraft.

Sharp-eyed staff recognized the crazy shoes he'd been wearing and called police.

A police spokesman said: "The man had been wearing bright red shoes and everyone remembered them distinctly when they saw him run out of the bank.

"They could not believe their eyes when they saw a man wearing the same shoes come back in and kept him in the bank talking about his overdraft while our officers arrived."

The stupid criminal, aged 33, has now been charged with armed robbery.

If you’re gonna be dumb enough to rob a bank, at least don’t wear something that stands out and don’t go back into the same bank to handle your personal account. If you do you may find yourself on a stupid criminal story.
